"Traditional Landscape"

There are a great many places on this planet that are best put as “awe inspiring.” Spaces and places so grand or so unique from what we each see day to day that they inspire us to stop and take in the view before us. This reflex to pause and observe transcends racial, ethnic, cultural, and class lines. It is an innate part of being these funny visually oriented creatures called humans.

Each of these images are created from 300-500 individual photographs, digitally assembled, and printed between 36” and 72” in width. The scale and detail of each print allows viewers to “take in” the image from across the room or examine it from only a few inches away. Each perspective reveals entirely new details not dissimilar to how we interact with these places when we have the opportunity to be there in person.
